Pipe Box

Connecticut mahogany hanging pipe box, c. 1790 with an inlaid tree and eagle clutching arrows and olive branches on the front and ebonized diamond and leaf inlay on the sides. This rare piece held tobacco in its front drawer and pipes in its top compartment. It can either hang or stand.
